✨ Certified Doula Course: Mother-Led, Root-Deep This is not just a doula training! It’s a rite of passage. Designed by a licensed midwife with over two decades of experience, this comprehensive program blends practical skills, evidence-based education, and soul-rooted wisdom to prepare you for the real work of holding birth. You’ll walk through every stage of the childbearing cycle: pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum, and newborn care, while learning how to truly see, support, and serve families through one of life’s most sacred thresholds. 🌀 Meets and exceeds national certification standards Our curriculum meets or exceeds DONA International requirements and includes training in: Anatomy & physiology Birth and postpartum doula skills Communication, advocacy, and ethics Emotional support and trauma awareness Breastfeeding/chestfeeding, newborn care, and recovery Professional charting, contracts, and business setup You’ll also complete all the components required for certification: ✔️ 3 documented births (birth experience can be added on for an additional fee) ✔️ Reading List (included in course) ✔️ 2 book reports ✔️ HIPAA, CPR, and First Aid (students must obtain outside of this course - online HIPPA acceptable) ✔️ Professional reflection for grading and a simple final integration quiz ✅ Insurance Reimbursable: Our certification qualifies you to bill Medi-Cal and many private insurers for birth support services as well as HSA's and health shares under recognized doula codes. This course allows a full year to meet all requirements - extensions granted on a case by case basis. I'll walk with you every step of the way.
