This comprehensive and interactive course spans 6 weeks, offering in-depth training that covers a wide array of essential topics, including: - Lactation Support - Childbirth Education - Foundations of Anatomy in Pregnancy and Childbirth - Non-Medical Comfort Measures - Prenatal Support - Labor Support Techniques - Developing a Community Resource List - Business Basics for Doulas Throughout the course, participants will receive tailored one-on-one feedback and invaluable insights from our experienced instructor, Randi Payton— a California Medical Board Licensed Midwife & Certified Professional Midwife with over a decade of hands-on experience in home birth practice. In addition to 6 weeks of structured curriculum, Randi will be available to guide you through your required client experiences, providing real-time support and advice. Participants will also benefit from access to a carefully moderated, warm and welcoming virtual peer group, fostering a sense of community and support. New Doulas - You're not alone anymore! Ongoing peer reviews allow you to debrief and learn from the experiences of your fellow Doulas.
